Summer 2025 Reading Assignment

Research has shown that reading during the summer is not only critical in building reading skills but also in maintaining achievement gains from the prior school year. For this reason, summer reading is mandatory at HCMS.

Summer 2025 Math Information

To help reduce the summer slide in math, HCMS high school math assigns a summer math packet to keep students' math skills sharp over the summer. Choose the packet for the math class you'll be entering in August, and you'll find the instructions and activities.
